Eye test for drivers

Can't you get an eye test from spec-savers and jump the queue to book your drivers??

You can, but the eye test is hardly what causes the delays... My wife & I renewed our driver's licenses together last time around; I had the eye test done beforehand, she didn't. I was done with the whole process a grand 5 minutes before her.

Go just before lunch at 12:30. Took me 15 minutes.

At Hillstar you still have to stand in the queue and get the eye test guys to check the test you had done and fill in the forms. So it basically doesn't help at all.

However Hillstar was so quiet when I went the other day that I had everything done in a few minutes.
