Eyefinity - The low down

anybody here that tried Nvidia 2d/3d surround?

So what's the best option then - 3 LCD's using eyefinity or one Huge HDtv?

because the Eyefinity setup will have much better quality - but it has the plastic in between (which I don't like really)
The HDtv Sollution won't be as cristal clear - but no plastic bars in the middle?

another advantage to eyefinity i'm guessing is you get to view the "side angles" on the two side screens, correct?

Depending on the game and its support for Eyefinity, it might be the better option.

But from a clarity point of view, 3 LCD's will be better than one HUGE HDtv....

If I had the cash to splash out for it, I'd be going 6 LCD's.... I would LOVE a setup like that

Are you running you spanning your desktop across all 3?

I only span when running games, running a browser or outlook etc across 3 screens isn't that cool.

I am assuming you haven't had any issues with 1 of your monitors not waking up when the monitors go to sleep?

Are you using that sapphire display port converter?

No issues with 1 monitor not waking up....
and yup, ordered from Prophecy.. was the only decently priced convertor I could find.
