I got an EZCool unit from someone... It's the 950W model on here.

Just wondering firstly if anyone knows anything about ezcool? The internet is pretty silent on this score... any prior experiences, whether its' worth keeping or should I rather get a better brand even if lower wattage rating? And also who supplies them in case something should happen?

Thanks...

Matrix Warehouse sell them from what I remember. If you are planning to install the unit in a PC make sure to test the voltages after everything has been connected as some customers claim that these units have damaged hard drives and motherboards etc. due to out of spec voltages. I definitely wouldn't try to draw more than 500~600W from the unit as it is very unlikely that it can supply anything close to 950W. I'm sure though that millions of units of this brand of supply are currently in use. Take a look at some customer feedback on Google.

There a few things that make me worry when i visit that site,
1) Power 350W-1050W ?? :wtf:
2) Efficiency 80% PLUS (Optional) ??? Why optional, it's either 80+ or not! lol

Now if those specifications are for their whole range, then thats just damn lazy!

Lol thanks guys...well the unit should be able to pull 108A according to the specs. But that's pretty suss to me.. Maybe I'll sell and get a better brand then.
