i just tried to initiate a pppoe connection to my openweb account and get an error message that says: access denied, username and password invalin on this domain blah blah so im like wtf, any way tested with to other different isp accounts both worked fine so i confirmed it was not my line, and i havent changed the password cos it's saved.

so i went online with other isp and bought another openweb local only account and proceed to create pppoe, and it gives me the same ****ing error.

called customer support and a lady answered and told me that that support closed at 5 already, well why did she answer . . . ever heard of answering machines?

then she told me that it takes upto 2 days for the account to be activated so i told her that the website says instant activation when using credit card.

and her response to that was that I have to email admin proof of payment.

WTF!

at that point i just said bye cos I didn't want to swear.

where is mr beep :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Why oh why oh why do people continue to use Openweb... geezuz... aren't there enough threads here which give you enough reasons to NOT use them??

Lord Fubar this happens to me aswell but after 5mins max it authenticates

The exact same thing happened to me this week with my vpn connection.
Took the whole week to sort it out! gave me the same story of my account that needed to be activated and proof of payment although i used a credit card.
They had to give me a new username and password for the vpn, which i finally got today!
This lady you spoke to probably is 'MrBEEP' XD
