Some queries re the MTN F@stLink E620 Data Card
1) will this card work with a vodacom sim card with 3G and HSDPA ?
2) How much does it cost for cash and where would I be able to buy one.
3) Does this card work with the linksys router ?

1) yes you can use any network in MTN data card. You just have to setup a new profile with the correct APN.
2)At any MTN service center, for about R2400 (MTN DD will confirm)
3)That you will have to ask MTN DD

Huawei E620 works in Linksys Router

I am using the E620 card in my linksys router although with a Vodacom Sim. I changed a Novatel Merlin 740 card for this as the Merlin was initially not working in the router.

The software that I received with the router in Vodacom specific although there is a setting for automatic selection of the network. I will try to use it with my MTN Sim as well but unfortunately where I live (outside Krugersdorp) MTN have no 3G service and I am connecting to Vodacom 3G with an external Poynting directional antenna.

MTN F@stlink card will work with a vodacom sim card

The price is + - R2400 awaiting feedback from Morning side

As for the Vodacom Linksys router I know Vodacom has recently begun to sell the router. However, we cannot confirm if MTN’s card will work with the VC router since their might be restrictions at the software level on the router.
