Kubica did an awesome job... shame for Sutil man, shame for him... that was the let-down of the weekend for me. I thought Massa messed up a bit - Kimi, Hamilton and Raikonnen all had offs, but Massa got lucky with his and yet still disappointed towards the end...

BTW, don't get me wrong, Hamilton really had to work hard for that win... but Kubica... awesome!

brad lets be honest here

raki hami and massa messed up

massa made a slight error like just about every other driver, that error didnt cost him to much in all honesty

changing to a 1 stop messed it up, the track was drying and they took a risk, hamilton would not have pulled away so fast had massa had a lighter car

as massa said it was not that his car was slower, just bad tactics and then lets not forget hamilton got away with a mistake, he was what 40 seconds behind massa and the safety car came out and you saying massa got off lightly brad?

how does a 40-50 second gap compare with massa's slight mistake? plz hamilton got off his mistake in a massive way and without that safety car had no chance of winning this gp


not taking anything away from hamilton's drive but his mistake looked like it cost him a victory only for the safety car to appear and give the edge :)

mostly i feel really bad for sutil, wow possible 4th place destroyed 9 minutes from time

Lekker exciting race for me, pity for Sutil - that really sucks, but that's racing. Here's looking forward to the next one.

I must disagree that massa had a small off - he was lucky to be able to get back on the track... if not for that opening at exactly the right time, he could even have stalled the car. Hamilton's off was in the same degree IMO. And remember... there were two safety cars, so you can't say Hamilton was bad when he could make use of the safety car and Masa couldnt. Hamilton was 4th after his first pit and had to work a heavy car on a wet track to win that race... and if not for the second safety car, he would have trounced massa... all that while massa was ahead not too long before... naa Killa, Hamilton was the man today like it or not ;)
 
i never said hamilton was bad

i said hamilton had a bigger let off than massa, massa overshot a corner and was not lucky to get out of it, he only just missed the point and did well to keep it going, i never thought he was going to hit anything

hamilton hit the wall, stumbled into the pits lost alot of time and then the safety car came out with hamilton having a big fuel load (how is this not really lucky?

there is no way on this planet you can compare's massa small mistake to the let off that hamilton got

hamilton was out the race and racing for 3rd had it not come out

massa if you remember had a better car by a mile than hamilton, do you recall the 13 odds second prior to hamiltons crash?

ferrari meessed up massa with a 1 stop strategy and also the first safety car destroyed all the amazing driving he had done

yes hamilton was the man and drove well, so did massa until that safety car which brought everyone back into it

massa was trouncing hamilton before his crash

you say he would have trounced him? why when massi had pulled such a big lead before the safety car?

i didnt see hamilton trouncing massi before the safety car, i saw massa trouncing hamilton

i could be wrong but im almost sure massa was mauling hamilton before he crashed

brad plz correct me if i am wrong, i dont recall massa being trounced prior to lewis's crash

Raikkonen hit the wall today.
Alonso hit the wall today.
Massa did NOT hit anything today.

Hamilton was VERY lucky today. He was lucky to even get into the points. The deserving guys are Massa (clearly fastest in the wet) and Kubica. Massa completely out drove both Raikkonen and Hamilton when it was wet. He had a 13 second lead when the first safety car came out!!!

i think ferrari's stupid strat cost massa big time because he was alot faster than hamilton until they filled him for a one stop and then the track started to dry

im not sure brad how u can say hamilton would have trounced massa when he was 13 secs behind me prior to crashing

13 SECONDS brad, i think we both know who was trouncing who

yet massa was 13 seconds ahead of him prior to his crash and was maybe 50 seconds ahead after his crash
 
There was no way that Hamilton would have beaten Massa today. If there were no safety cars then Massa would have dominated. His drive in the wet was a lot like what Schumacher used to do.
 
By the way, am I the only one who is absolutely SICK of hearing James Allen comparing Hamilton to Senna? What makes it so sickening is the fact that he has said it about ten thousand times this weekend. There is no comparison.

Naah, definately missing the point. You reckon Hamilton started in third place and finished in first despite having a worse drive than Massa? Lol@ lucky to get into the points. Massa didn't hit anything cos he was the lucky one - he had his off where there was a big big hole in the barrier.

Despite Hamilton's hitting the wall and forced stop, he won the race... I think I know who drove better, it just takes a non-ferrari supporter to see it :p
 
no it takes a non mclaren supporter to admit that hamilton was lucky and was out classed before the safety car by massa

just take that top comment and tell me its not true? brad tell me this above statement is not correct plz

his drive was good but nothing amazing, good times while massa had a fat belly

thats racing though, what gets me is how ppl are going on about hamilton, the commentators never siad anything about massa dominant drive up front like they would have had hamilton been doing it

massa drove well today and only a couple things changed the race from massa to hamilton, it was not hamilton's driving though

massa had an incredible lead over hamilton, safety car removed that

after that ferrari made massa come third with putting him on a 1 stopper and not 2

he then had a fat belly and had to stop again to put on slicks

i can assure you had hamilton not been so lucky with the safety car he would not have won man

you know it as well
 
Massa did the best job today. No denying that. Just the fact that he didn't clip the wall once is enough evidence of that. You can't say he was lucky because he went off where there was a run off area; good drivers know where they can take the most risk.

I still think he had less fuel than the McLaren... and you will never know otherwise... maybe you can explain why only the first half of the race was good for Massa? And about outclassing... he lost it badly at the end... maybe that's inexperience or lack of commitment?

Hamilton makes a mistake, Kimi makes a mistake (or three), Masa makes a mistake (not so serious mistake according to some... not even requiring a pit-stop)... So maybe you can explain what happened.... Naah, you Ferrari fanboois surprise even me sometimes :p
