F1 2011 thread

Red Bull had KERS working fine in all other sessions, so I'm sure they do.

Schumacher in 11th. Harr harr harr. :D

If I had one wish for F1 it would be to see this seasons top 10 finishers start next season in the same spec/manufacturers car...

Not that it matters much in terms of the podium, but:

Sepang, Malaysia - Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso have both been penalised for infringements in the 2011 Malaysian Formula 1 GP.

McLaren's Hamilton was dropped from seventh to eighth after stewards ruled he "made more than one change of direction" while dicing with Alonso, his former team mate.

And Ferrari driver Alonso also received a post-race drive-through penalty - 20sec added to his race finishing time - for "causing a collision" when he drove into Hamilton's rear.

But the Spaniard keeps his sixth place.

Its been a lifetime since MS has been competitive, will he ever win again ?

WTF did he come back, legend status being decayed.

It would i suppose help having a car that he can drive. Things have changed a lot from when he first started out. A bad car is a bad car and it does not matter who drives it. He is a bit slower than his team mate no doubt but give the man a car that he can drive.

Even rosberg is struggling this season with the car. He is also 41. He came back because he wanted to drive again. So what if he fails. When he dies does it matter what people think? He is doing what he loves and i guess that is all that matters to him.

He is a winner and it sucks to see him struggle with a team that is evidently making little progress.

He is also struggling, the team is to focused on him i reckon instead of focusing on rosberg. I think it was a disaster for the team bringing him back. Rosberg should be their focus not a 41 year old over the hill driver. Whether he still has it or not is not the point. You build for the future and michael is not the future.

Yeah, I was also of the opinion that he should not have returned. But, your comment made me to look at it from a different angle. We know how much Schumi loves(d) racing... So, if there's a team willing to give him a seat, why shouldn't he race?

Yup i also thought the same until i watched some soccer show and they made the point about van der sar's retirement. He must go until he feels like he cannot do it anymore. He is in good shape unlike a former world champion who had to have a custom made seat to fit him in :D.

F1 seriously needs to get some females. I love watching the motogp build up. Hotties next to every bike :D.
