F1 2011 thread

Like we will ever get F1 back here :(

The figured it was better to sink money in A1GP which was plain to see from the starts it was going to be a fail of note.

Slasha can rip off Webber for saying "uuhh" 37 times, you'd think someone would point out the "basically" issue to them.

So, tyres should be an interesting factor this weekend, are we going to see 4 to 5 pit stops? I doubt it. It'd be nice to see the Ferraris near the front again. Predictably the Red Bulls will be up there.

Predictions, guys?

Vettel should take this one.
Alonso might also pounce back.

Hopefully we'll see more of the DRS on the long straights at Malaysia.

Hoping for a decent race, as a missed most of the Aus race weekend.

The weekend starts on Friday, and actually it is interesting, not so much in lap times, but if one follows with anything more than superficial interest a lot can be learned on the various teams and how things are likely to progress over the weekend.

McLaren looks strong. Maybe their novel ground effects they exploited in Oz will help them more this weekend ;)

Ok so judging by practice who is likely to be on poll tomorrow? The weekend starts on friday the real business starts on saturday.

Webber or button?

My point was you can't make anything from the lap times or positions from Friday sessions, but it remains interesting nonetheless IMO.

Neither.

Yea possibly but we will see tomorrow what the true speed of the relative cars will be, providing it's dry of course :D.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr don't ****ing advertise F1 qualifying in HD...if you only show it in HD for 10 min...

HD...SD....HD...SD...wtf is up with DStv?

I'd hazard it's not necessarily Monochoice's fault... It's the global début of F1 in HD and I think they're having a few issues with their feeds - check the laptime graphics, they're still in the wrong place for an HD feed...

What is up with the timings blocking half my screen? Look at the motogp the times are on the bottom so they don't block the screen :(.

What an epic quali wow vettel is amazing. Hamilton right up there with him. Does the redbull have kers working? I never see a graphic showing their kers battery
