Sorry dude! :o

Aaah... race has just started fading a bit. Vettel just needs to nurse home at this stage. Talk about the luckiest guy in F1!

Hamilton - Hulkenberg is where it's happening now.
In fact... it's about Ferrari vs McLaren right now... Constructors 2nd place.

Drive of a champion! Every thing went wrong, he brought it home to win! Gratz youngest ever 3 time world champion. ill go and drink now.

Well, I am happiness with Vetvel's 3rd win........ but I do feel for Alonso, he did everything he can with that Prancing Horse this year.

lol? Static yellow flags not SC, not waved with a green light in the mix. Can go either way

vettel overtaking under safety car

It looks like he did not... From Twitter:

@MBrundleF1: It appears the warning lights were red and yellow for slippery track not yellow so nothing to answer for Vettel. #F1

@GaryPaffett: @drewmcdevitt just seen the replay and when passing Kob the light board was not flashing. Slippery surface flag

Alonso got a very undeserved 2nd place in the race and championship, the douche should have come last.

To all you Alonso fans out there! Take that MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

That virtual view of the Vettel/Senna incident is pretty cool; that was Vettel's mistake for swinging across almost the entire width of the circuit. As for the yellow lights... dunno what the distinction is, but the lights accompanying the red & yellow flags were flashing, the ones under which Vettel overtook were not.

Well there's two types of yellow accoring to wiki.

-A single yellow indicates danger ahead, such as debris from a crash. Drivers must slow down as they pass; no overtaking is permitted, unless it is unavoidable such as a driver retiring in the section, or a driver is lapped.
-Two waved yellows at the same post indicates great danger ahead. Drivers must slow down and be prepared to stop; no overtaking is permitted unless a driver is lapped.

I would guess that a flashing yellow would be the same as a single yellow flag, and a solid yellow the same as two waved flags... both not permitting overtaking.

I'm not sure though.

Hence my uncertainty; I know 'bout the flags, but I don't know how they relate to the lights. I half suspect they're the other way around though, with flashing yellow lights equating to waved yellows.

We'll know tomorrow I'm sure...

Yeah that's also possible. Couldn't find anything about 'yellow lights'.. but i'm sure we'll find out.

Lucky? He's had nothing but bad luck! Hanging in there...

He had flipping good luck too, or didn't you see the way he was shunted?

It did suck for him to win it the way it ended tho. SC for the last two laps sucked. So close for Alonso too, brilliant drive for both.
