Ricciardo being on pace is great to see. Ferrari not quite there. Kimi's body language looks quite pissed. With himself, or with the car?

I enjoy the small victories. Because as you say, he will probably have exceptional race pace. But for now I am happy.

Edit.

Kimi always looks pissed off though. Damn shame about Kimi.
 
And Lotus is waiting on Renault to sort their engine problems out :D

I want to see the Hamster take the title again, but against a competent field. Having any one team romp away with 1st and 2nd - week after week - gets stale very quickly.

The cars sound good, at least. We'll never again have the early naughties' V10s screaming to 20,000 rpm, but these Roombas have a charm of their own.

Sebastian Vettel says he is confused about his lack of pace in qualifying, after being dumped out of Q2.

"There is not much I can do now. It's disappointing as the car seemed to be very good yesterday. The car seems to have potential, Daniel is showing that.

"I was struggling a bit more with intermediate and wet conditions. I struggled with the driveability – for some reason we lost [speed] overnight and we need to understand why that was."

Eish. Ricciardo did an awesome job. So did the Merc guys. Alonso lost out by going out too early on inters. Epic last minute of quali!

Ricciardo was on the right tyres at the right time. That said, he drove a pretty good quali where the faster cars weren't able to really get on the throttle. I suspect the race will be the same - short of getting an extra pit stop in, I can't see the high powered cars running away with it considering fuel consumption and tyre issues.

Did you see his body language at the end when they fetched him from the track? Snubbed the woman with the umbrella and disappeared into his hokkie. He has a temper that one.
