Rosberg eager to discuss 'above limits' driving with Hamilton

Nico Rosberg is looking forward to sitting down with Lewis Hamilton to clear the air after their tense battle for the lead at the Bahrain Grand Prix, after he felt his team-mate stepped over the limit on one occasion.

The Mercedes team will talk through the wheel-to-wheel duel on Thursday in China to make sure both drivers have their say. Rosberg said there was one moment when he felt Hamilton moved across on him too quickly.

"That was the only example where I came on the radio and thought it was above the limits," he said. "The rest of the examples were really tough racing but with the necessary respect.

"It was the rate at which he was pushing me out, because if the rate is too fast I would struggle to avoid the accident. If you're on the inside you are the boss as long as you are in front, and it was just cms off me being in front in Turn 4 sometimes and I just didn't manage to get those five or ten cms in front. I was even, and as long as you're even it's the inside that has the say.

"But I found the rate [that he moved over] a little bit over the limit, which is why I said over the radio because I found it a bit over the limit."

Rosberg must talk less and race. You cant expect Lewis to be less aggressive, if Nico cant match he must settle for # 2.

Ditto - he has every right to do what Hamilton did and I'd challenge him to do the same. It's about who backs off first vs who holds out. That said, clean driving is important. He who has track position / the line wins.

Looking forward to more of what we saw in Bahrain.

Who remembers this? :D

Sorry that came out a bit squashed.

But more of the same. Maldonado crashed at pit exit, idiot, Lotus will fire his a$$ quick.

Hamilton was looking damn fast... At least we've got 2 RB's separating him and Rossberg. Maybe we will see Daniel on the podium again :)

Red bulls starting to get up there with the merc's. This is getting rather good...

Just remember the limiting factor in the wet would be the tyres' grip levels, which would be comparable for everyone. If it's dry tomorrow - as it's forecast to be - expect Merc to bludgeon everyone again.

My exact thought, if it's dry I expect Rosberg to be in front of the RB duo by the first corner.

Nothing new. RB is fast in the wet but they are nowhere in the dry. Remember Australia and Malaysia. In both those cases at least one of them out qualified Rosberg. Merc is still miles ahead

HAHAHAHA!

Vettel: Which tyres is he on?
Pit: Prime, but he stopped later than you
Vettel: Tough luck.

Loving this Redbull rivalry hahaha.

Go Ricciardo! Brilliant overtaking move - made it look so easy. Ferrari need to hire Ricciardo - the closest they'll have to a decent Italian driver in ages.
