F1 2014 thread

Wonder if we will get to see the Formula E testing like F1?

Regarding the Redbull Ring I think Merc will still nudge ahead with the straights.

Yes, there is no running away from that.......

I'm really starting to think the FIA need to open up their rule about engine changes throughout the year for spectator's sake.

Just remove Merc for a sec and look at what amazing competitive field you have. Now throw merc in amongst them having taken away the insane advantige and it would be simply bluddy amazing!

There would probably be lots of people disagreeing with you, but imo. there is truth in the comment. Dominance has never been good in F1, drives spectators away, lowers viewer ratings, etc.

Unfortunately its a sad by-product.

Everyone will be pointing fingers at Seb but lets be honest he did not have this kind of runaway advantige he fought for what he got.

Am wondering if SS will stream the FP.

Looked at the stream menu today and don't see them there.

:(

Usual suspects in top 10, except Button who is out of place (5th).

Am sure that will rectify itself in the quali. :D

Sigh.. Renault could just as well have sent an oranje blanje blou ossewa powerunit they are frustratingly underpowerd this weekend, its really getting to me now.

On a positive note Alonso is doing well and looking good with the new Titanium Skid Plates being tested, let's be honest its a cheap easy ploy to get us happy.. but hey.. somtimes cheap and easy ain't so bad. :D

Yes he is, a podium looks very possible. The Mercs still their usual 1s advantage. Williams doing well, looks like it should be another good weekend for them.

Williams tend to just slightly struggle with race pace. Hopefully this is where some of the Renault powerunits can catch up.

Not too much in it. Assume we all know who will win, bar any hiccups.

Maybe there will be some rain, 20% chance of rain predicted for Spielberg for Sunday.
