ALO vs RIC... Good racing!
I beg to differ. Certainly not effortless and requiring a pretty special strategy. Yes, they are way faster, but that was one special drive by the Ham.It's only when a Merc starts in 20th place that the true pace of the car is seen.
20th to 3rd looking quite effortless (if it wasn't for the Button bump and subsequent early pit stop, it would probably be 20th to 2nd).

You say you differ, but then say the same thing. I'm not downplaying Hamilton's driving, it was exceptional, but as you agree, the Merc is exceptionally fast and isn't used at 100% power through most races. It's only when it's really needed (like starting last) that the power is turned up.
At one stage Hamilton was catching the cars in front of him at 3 seconds a lap (and I recall correctly the bunch included Ferrari, Red Bull, Force India and McLaren).

And Hungary is this week
and then a month wait for Belgium![]()
Yay Hungary, most boring track of the year for me
Different Massa this year, way more aggressive, not a bad thing though as long as he keeps it in check.
I was very supportive of him earlier in the season as he seemed like he was rejuvenated, but now it is getting a little frustrating as a Williams fan. Canada was a guaranteed podium, possibly even a win, and I believe he takes an equal share of the blame in that accident, which if I am honest, I saw coming. Silverstone wasn't his fault and a driver with less experience may have had a bigger shunt in his position. Yesterday, like Canada, I feel he is partly to blame and another glut of points were lost.
