They should let Kimi slow down and make Lewis work to pass him. Or keep Kimi out there for as long as they can to hurt Lewis tyres
 
We've got a real race here...any one of 4-5 drivers can win this
 
So unless Hamilton opens up a lead he better hope those tyres hold

Looks like Kimi is starting to catch him and he needs to stay in front of Verstappen
 
Yeah, when they started talking about Hamilton needing to come in he was 40s in front of Vettel and would've come out 2nd.

Now I don't claim to know more about these things than Mercedes, but I'm just saying: this might go to Mexico

EDIT: I swear I said it before the commentators :p
 
So that's at least one position he lost as a result of that IMO. Would have been better to come out behind Kimi earlier and race for the win.
