On the South African GP... just a reminder from 2005:
Ecclestone has in the past pushed for a South Africa bid and promised in 2004 to bring it back to SA.
"We are going to South Africa - it's not a question of if, it's only when," Ecclestone said last November. There will be a South African GP, hosted by Cape Town, within five years."

Bernie, at 91, may never see the first SA GP in this generation. His now 2 year old son might...

Ahhh ffs... stupid reply function and not paying attention :)....

I meant to quote the video about the GP returning to SA...

*hangs head in shame*
We all do it. Fortunately there are plenty pedantic forumites sitting in the wings waiting for an opportunity to correct you

I will happily take the correction with humility... unless its more fun not to :D

"The whisper is that Haas might like the idea [of Oscar Piastri] as Ferrari protege Mick Schumacher is clearly struggling to cope with the pace of Kevin Magnussen. And Kevin is not yet up to full speed."

Now that Haas have a half decent car, they want to act like Red Bull!

It's way to early to decide Mick's fate.

There's no way they're getting rid of Mick. Apart from the Ferrari link, they need the money from the Germans which was the reason for signing him in the first place.

But Oscar does deserve a spot in F1, if not with them then someone else. Let's hope he doesn't end up like our Oscar...

Williams...Latifi isn't doing himself any favours at the moment.

Or Alpine if Alonso retires.

Replace Latifi with Oscar

Can Piastri's father give the team the same amount of money that Latifi's father does for the seat?
Latifi's dad better suck up for paying the repair bills if he continues crashing.
