did you miss this post?

Admittedly, I don't take the time to read all the opinions or drivel in the threads. I have now read yours and whatever it was you tried to point out. Thank you very much.

TLDR (as I understood):

At the end of the combustion cycle, the Ferrari engine injects a bit of fuel post-combustion to cool the exhaust valves, i.e., a rich fuel-air mixture.

However, on high-fuel consumption circuits, they cannot do that, otherwise they would run out of fuel. So they ran a leaner mix, and that caused the exhaust valves to overheat. This overheating caused tiny bits of the exhaust valves to break off, which then ended up in the turbo's turbine, and then *kaboom*.

Their option for Canada, which is also a high-fuel consumption circuit, is to run the engine at lower power, which will allow them to still run a richer mixture while finishing the race with the required fuel.

Does anyone on here use f1tv on Hisense TV with Vidaa OS? Cant seem to find an app for for it. Can it be side loaded or must I sue a browser on tv? Thanks

Now, this being F1 - the pinnacle of finding ways to bullshit, manipulate and bend the rules to your advantage- would I put it past Merc to set the car extra low, make the problem "worse" and try appeal to the FiA again to allow changes disguised as "driver safety".

Even at the expense of the most decorated yesterday man out there.

Would I? No I would not. Besides if driver safety is so important then don't race.

That's not even an unprecedented move.

Didn't Merc's complaints lead to this rule in the first place?

How can they think that removing the iconic "Wall of Champions" will improve F1?
FoM appear to be intent on destroying all tradition, and everything that makes F1 what it is, in the quest to modernise, sanitise and Is monetise the sport.
