Trying to remember, does k-mag have any personal sponsorship to bring to the team?

I think he brought Jack And Jones (clothing brand from Denmark IIRC) with him the last time he was with the team

Coverage starts at 08:50 tomorrow but ESKOM will only restore my power at 10:30 second session starts at 13:50 and ESKOM turn me off at 15:00.
So much for watching the test sessions :crying:
But we do still have nice Cats in Darkest Africa and we don't have shells falling on our heads ............

Thanks, I appreciate your offer, but I stopped sulking and started thinking.
I now have a small UPS on an ADSL router (yes the old stuff to the rescue TELKOM lines stay up) and a 10" tablet on charge.
That should cover the blackouts and I can use the PC or TV for the rest :)

Ahh, and there I was going to post fake updates for you.

Breaking news! Mazepin to drive for Ferrari, LeClerc joins Ukrainian Foreign Legion! Williams and Haas fastest by 5 seconds!

How are Merc getting ground effect with that width body? Sounds like trollfake news to me.
Ground force is only a couple of inches under the floor.
The teams that have the best downforce are the ones who have a vortex effectively sealing the sides and creating a vacuum under the floor.
The lack of side pods drawing the air in may also create such a vortex and at the same time reduce wind resistance hence increase speed.
However, I am an electronics engineer not mechanical, so could be way off the mark here.

I'd be very surprised if they went with such a radical, and untested, design so short before the season starts. This is just media looking to make a story that doesn't exist

It’s just testing this weekend. Perfect time to slap it on the car and see what happens. They can always change it for the race weekend.

This guy should really shut up and feck off for now.

He still hasn't condemned the invasion, I notice.
Meh. Never felt sorry for him leaving TBH. It was written on the wall once that invasion started. An American company being sponsored by a Russian oligarch wasn't going to happen. Mind you, not sure why it was "allowed" last year already.
This will be the last time we see the guy spinning in F1. Nobody will want to employ him, unless daddy buys an F1 team out like Stroll. However, he has other plans for Aston Martin, both the road cars and the F1 team so there's a plan right there.

I reckon the sidepodless thing is fake. All the side impact protection is right where the sidepods would be. That would have had to be tested and passed by the FIA. Maybe it's possible to remove the regular inlets or reduce them but not remove the sidepods.
