Driver of the Day: Hamilton...credit where credit is due

Dud of the day: Albon and Magnussen. Nowhere.

Special shout-out to Red Bull strategy schooling everyone and Merc almost (maybe still) screwing it up by under fueling. That will be an egg on face moment of note.

And Russell on the podium!!! (Unless the egg on face thing develops into something).

Nah. Russel by a margin. He kept Max behind him longer than most would IMO. That brought us a bit of a race.

I definitely heard DNF risk, said to both Ham and Rus.
Exactly - running out of fuel would cause a DNF wouldn't it? I suppose they could Mansell the thing across the line.

DNF risk, probably overheating.
DNF risk because you need a fuel sample after the race. I think it was Renault who got caught out earlier this year as well.

EDIT: could've sworn it was about fuel but they just mentioned it was a cooling issue :/

DotD to Ham for me, Rusesell 2nd and then Max.

Where were Williams though, Albon finished 2 weeks behind everyone else.

VER made a biggish mistake and was handed P1 by PER, I'd throw a vote to ALO instead of VER

Well Done Max.

Get in there George, great race from him, podium finish.

Good point actually.

I'm trying to think if we've had better racing this year than that Russell/Verstappen battle.

Okay so it was a temp issue. That's better than a fuel issue. Let's hope they get it sorted soon.

Overall, good race gents. It's been a pleasure spamming with you.

No we haven't, that was a master class of a good driver in a slower car holding off a world champion (DRS Issues also helped) but to me it was the highlight of the race.

Verstappen and LeClerc in Bahrain for starters.

Also Verstappen and LeClerc in Saudi

Then there was that Haas vs Aston Martin train a couple of races ago

Definitely the highlight. Perhaps that and Hamilton's charge on those new tyres too.
