Perez already confirmed that it was the right call and that Verstappen was too quick in the middle stint.

Imho if RB state their drivers can race then they should allow them to or at least do so within parameters. The issue I've had with team orders is when such orders prejudice a driver who is legitimate challenger to whoever is being favoured. Checo is Max's closest rival now and he's been lauded as being able to defend ("The minister of defence") and yet was unable to do so - that to me isn't very sporting.

I'm sure there could be many alternatives to the status quo. Could be quite entertaining if drivers could only speak to each other and pit walls were more limited.
