Pure gossip and clickbait
He has not been banned, he just faces it, as he has for the past few races.
Let's to feed the Trolls or the Fringe web sites and just stick to the facts.
I think the difference this time is he was previously granted an extension, and has run out of time.

Don't see them going straight to suspension though. Probably reprimand, penalty then suspension...

Seems like Max wears the dress in the relationship...

Max is an idiot, he should have the intelligence to just keep quiet if he didn't want to condemn what Nelson said.

To try and downplay multiple uses of the N word is not a clever idea.

I see that Nelson has previous form for making outrageous comments about drivers, like Senna and Mansell so isn't the totally nice guy Max is trying to portray.

I see that Kelly Piquet apparently likes the use of the N word as well.

It really just depends on which side of the media one wants to have a hissy fit and find confirmation bias...

The articles you are quoting are from Max’s response to a question from Ted earlier in the day. The article that Mike quoted is from a second response he gave later in the day. So you can’t really say that there are different interpretations based on biases purely as they are referring to separate instances.

I think Sebs response was quite succinct and accurate

Of course it's biased. It's selective reporting to paint a specific picture of Max. News24 chose to focus on the sensational parts about Max "defending his girlfriend's racist dad". Nothing about him voicing his support for Lewis and the anti-racism drive that F1 is pushing. That was already said a while before the News24 article, so it's not like News24 didn't know about it.

Seb's response was much more sincere and to the point though.

As the self-appointed de facto voice of reason, I feel the need to come in here with my R0.02. Max has been called out for using derogatory terms in the past (can't remember who it was aimed at though). Personally, I've regarded him as a closet racist since that incident. The Piquet incident makes me wonder what he's really like behind closed doors. Soort soek soort. That's my opinion.

Now let's get back to being excited about the weekend ahead, where Hamilton will take all the fans, Leclerc will take the pole and someone else will probably take the win

They won't suspend him at the moment with the racist incident courtesy of Piquet hanging around.

BUT, he's also clearly giving the finger to the establishment while all being about the rules. They apply sometimes, and to anyone else.

Let's not forget Hamilton ain't no saint...

However, while Verstappen shouldn't have to defend Piquet's choice of language, he chose to do so and hasn't really come out well in translation has he? I read what he said last night and it doesn't really put much distance between the racist terms used and him (Max). If I read it correctly, it doesn't seem like he's condemning it much.

Managed to take a couple of pics close up of the Williams 2022 car at their fan booth in Shepards bush, was surprise find while walking around in search of a SIM deal for data. Unfortunately could not sit inside it. These cars are allot lower and wider than I expected and those 18 inch wheels are massive.

Williams have new side pods and an engine cover on Albono's car this weekend.

How Williams F1 update isn’t just a Red Bull clone: https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/r...1-update-isnt-just-a-red-bull-clone/10330731/

"... It’s clear that there’s heavy influence in design decisions from both Ferrari and Red Bull, with the sidepods completely altered to take onboard a mixture of the design features seen on the leading pair.

While the overall design concept of its sidepods trend more towards Red Bull's RB18, and some others on the grid that have gravitated towards a downwashing ramp solution, it has a very similar inlet, undercut and flank shape to the Ferrari F1-75, with a wide but shallow mouth design used to supply cool air to the radiators housed within.

The radiators, various coolers, electronics and other ancillaries have all had to be modified and/or repositioned too. Not only in order that the sidepod bodywork can be adjusted but so that the engine cover could be redesigned too.

Beneath the engine cover, where previously a pair of coolers were laid over the top of the power unit, there’s now just one cooler, taking up the type of position we’re used to seeing from Red Bull, McLaren and AlphaTauri.

If we take a look at the sidepod and engine cover bodywork before it is fitted to the cars, it’s pretty obvious to see just how different the two configurations are. The new layout, on the left below, features much wider and longer sidepod bodywork.

The engine cover is now much slimmer behind the airbox given the requisite changes that have been made to the size and position of the internal components.

It’s also worth noting that the floor has also been treated to a design overhaul, with the FW44 now sporting a very different set of floor strakes on the leading edge of the underfloor tunnel. Meanwhile, the triangular-shaped floor edge wing has been discarded in favour of bringing the floor arc forward and altering its geometry...."

... As Gibbs would say, Rule 39: No such thing as a coincidence.

Yes just a way he and his fans got to get him out of following the rules.

Even look at this thread, finally all the Hamilton fans are out and have something to talk about on this thread. The irony? And its not about racing?

Very true, how dare everyone keep a racist to account. He should've been left alone, him and the other poor victims that are like him.
