Only a minute left. No biggie. Slicks weren't the way to go.What an idiot. Tried to log in on my phone now, reception is crap when the electricity is off.
I suspect quit a few of us will need to catchup over the weekend so I will drop this here for reference - f1full.comElectricity is going on at 18h30 by me.
“I am not sure why we are continuing to give these older people a platform. They are speaking on the sport but we are looking to go in a different direction. It’s the bigger picture.” - Hamilton
So it seems there is more to the Piquet story. Where's this "nice guy" Max is defending?
Doesn't serve the agenda...Not to take anything away from what NP has said and the S-storm he has created..... But, I wonder why all of this footage has gone viral now? How did it not gain traction last year when it was recorded and released?
Expect the motor industry is shifting to EVs, and so that's where the innovation of F1 should be directed.Karun made an excellent point yesterday: if F1 is going carbon-neutral synth fuel, then there's no reason why we can't go back to pure V10s or even V12s![]()
F1 has a lot of input into the the motor industry.Expect the motor industry is shifting to EVs, and so that's where the innovation of F1 should be directed.
Briatore believes that the race-fix claims levelled at him and his team, which he has denied and is taking legal action against the Piquets over, follows a pattern of besmirching that Piquet Sr carried throughout his F1 career.
One of his most famous outbursts came in a magazine interview when he was still driving, when the three-time champion accused Ayrton Senna of being gay and said that Nigel Mansell's wife was 'ugly'. Those remarks caused outrage at the time.
"We know Nelson's story, he's always run down everyone," explained Briatore at Monza. "Nelson drove for me and... Nelson is blackmailing, and that's what we have brought.
"It's very tough for Renault to have had these put downs from Nelsinho and from Piquet Sr, but then we know Piquet Sr. He has always denigrated everyone - starting from [Ayrton] Senna, to Mansell's wife, to everyone. That's what Piquet Sr has always done. I know him well because he raced for us, I know Sr better than Jr."

What a pathetic human being. But he's a nice guy according to some who are whipped by his daughter...Piquet's comments should surprise no one. He has always had a reputation for being a nasty piece of work, prone to passing bigoted comments.
Briatore, of all people, called out Piquet's behaviour way back in 2009 amidst the 'Crashgate' scandal. Of course that may have been the rare occasion Piquet's personal slander of someone was somewhat accurate.

Briatore: Piquets' stance not a surprise
Renault boss Flavio Briatore says it has been tough for his team to cope with the accusations levelled at them by former driver Nelson Piquet and his father - but he is not totally surprised at the way things have turned outwww.autosport.com
It's all part of the marketing machine, just like the news. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ferrari back in charge in ItalyDoesn't serve the agenda...
Anyway, back to the track. It seems as if Merc has made some decent progress regarding the porpoising. Also great to see Norris up the at the top. Let's see if the normal order resumes though or if the shakeup holds.
Are you saying that Formula 1 is like professional wrestling where matches are fixed? It's all part of the marketing machine, just like the news. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ferrari back in charge in Italy
