The WMSC ratified the new Rules with effect from SPA and I am not sure they can do the work in 3 days to be ready for Thursday, so some of the team's must have been busy during the break.

Probably very uncomfortably. Alonso won't be in any technical sessions I am sure. Whether or not he gets updates on his car as well is another story.
Piastri...well, that has gone quiet. I honestly thought we would see more movements in the drivers market, but it was a lame duck.

Has Alonso ever worked with a team?
I get the impression that the Teams tolerate him for his ability to get more out of the car than most, but he has never been a team player and is known for selling them short.
Personally I think Alonso is a great driver but not a nice person and his age is soon going to devalue his worth as a driver.
A sensible team will make him a consultant, as was Niki, if not his F1 future is nearly over.

Great. They need more of these gravel traps on circuits. It's going to stop drivers hitting the runoff area and then getting back onto the track.

No doubt a result of Spa meeting FIM safety standards - bikes prefer to have some gravel instead of just pure paved runoff. Positive result for F1 though is drivers will suddenly be able to respect track limits when they know they cannot abuse the paved runoff.

I'm all for gravel as long as the cars don't get completely bogged down, imagine getting punted off into the gravel at turn 1 due to no fall of your own. Hopefully they've got it right like at the Redbull ring.
