Sure but it'll ultimately be the downfall of the FIA if they don't introduce measures to ensure those making decisions are impartial. Pretty sure recusal wouldn't be too much to ask or perhaps a mechanism where decisions are done blinded by some technological method.

Warwick is one of the better stewards, he actually has F1 experience.

Hamilton when winning: We work as a team. It's really awesome that we succeed together.

Hamilton when not in the front: You guys should have listened to me about the tyres! (ie. It's YOU against ME)...

(Sorry if this triggers anyone).

Boring race. Hell, even Monaco is more exciting. I forgot that there wasn't much place for overtaking. Glad Checo won! Glad that both the McLaren and AMR drivers got some decent points too.
Pity about Alonso's engine giving up the ghost as he was defending well against Verstappen.

Leaked close-up of Hamilton’s front wing without the paint.

Nelson Mandela Grand Prix in Soweto for South Africa?

A most enticing new plan for a South African Grand Prix in Soweto appears to be rising from the ashes of Kyalami’s recent failed bid.

Saw that and came straight to this thread. Looks like a joke, that map must've been made in MS paint.

A rudimentary leaked map reveals a planned street circuit in and around the NASREC national showgrounds. Most of the track traverses the facility’s service roads, often used as a popular tarmac rally stage over the years.

The NASREC site is serviced by train and bus services and has parking for 10,000 cars, it also boasts state-of-the-art medical and fire facilities, and even has its own power plant to alleviate South Africa’s present power grid challenges.

Have I been sleeping under a rock all these years....
When have all these rallies been ???
Where's the train ???
Where's the power plant ???

Yeah, I don't get it. For starters, its flat, I doubt there is any surface capable of running an F1 car on, no real infrastructure in place for a race weekend (besides catering maybe) and the straights look to be about 300/400 metres. A really short looking track, street circuit at best.

At least there is plenty of parking space.............

Gotta believe the experts with experience in such matters
Yes, true...probably waiting for someone else to do something to point the finger.

Seb would be wondering about that. One minute his Ferrari had newfound performance and the next it was gone with some below the table deal. We will probably find out who really killed JFK before this deal (assuming there's a conspiracy around his assassination!).
