Dude, he was alongside LH going into T2, the rule is the driver being overtaken must leave one car's width. LH did not, and drove into MV - clear as day.

Not the first time either LH has not left space - most notably against FA in Spa IIRC.
That would depend on who you consider being the overtaken on T2. Very grey line but my opinion is T1 MV is the overtaker but then becomes the overtaken in T2 so he would then have to give space, not LH.

So F1 drivers will almost never admit they were wrong.
LH is known for his whining on the radio and trying to influence race directors. Even the previous race he gave live commentary on Max's track limits.
So after the first/2nd corner incident, LH immediately jumps on the radio and say it was a racing incident. Why? Because he knows that it was his fault
All the commentators knew it was his fault.
For the real F1 fans that followed the sport for years, the penalty given to Max was no surprise. It just confirms what we knew the last decade.

This is the radio message that should hit the headlines not Max and Checo's
GR also pointed out Minimums track limits in the Sprint, so what's your point. All the drivers do it.

Hamilton and Rosberg disagrees and I'm pretty sure Michael would've sold his teammate's mother to a cartel for a point.

Michael's teammates were never in his league, so there was rarely a situation where he needed to deal with them. And if he did have to deal with them, Ferrari's pecking order was very clear and his teammates knew their place.

The mistake Merc made was attempting to field two equal drivers, hence the problems they had.

ALO also likes to screw over his teammates but in more creative and entertaining ways.

I agree. Just sometimes the rules aren't always well thought through or catering for all situations. I think we can agree that the FIA are not very good at that.

They should go back to the fundamental rule being that you always leave a car width. Always.
If max was so badly off the racing line his corner would have been compromised and Lewis would have come out ahead anyway.

I'm ok with the rules else we might as well just design tracks to not have sharp corners and introduce car width lanes. I don't think that even with a car width of space Max would've stayed within it for this last incident.

What alternative reality are you living in? The stewards looked at it with the benefit of a vast amount of data and tools at their disposal and determined Max was at fault awarding him a 5s penalty.

Sure. Then let him understeer out and smack into Hamilton, then the penalty is clear cut. As it is, he was over the kerb at the apex, definitely did not understeer.

"He did not complete the pass in Turn 1 and his excess speed compromised his entry into turn 2, at which point he made contact with Hamilton."

And the other confusing decisions they made this weekend?

Look, fanboys will (almost) always side with the FIA/stewards when it benefits their hero, and against when it doesn't.

Very few people can be impartial when it comes to sports (myself included). Let's just accept it and move on, otherwise we'll never get anywhere.

Let's look forward to the last race of the season, I'm rooting for GR to win again in Abu Dhabi :D

Hamilton vs Rosberg crashes.
Hamilton vs Vettel crashes
Hamilton vs Verstappen crashes

Look I am no expert in Math and Statistics but there seems to be a common denominator here.

Does any of the F1 guru's here know if Vettel, Rossberg or Verstappen had these multiple incidents with any other drivers?

Fun. Now do Verstappens crashes and find the common denominator.
