This woke crowd is amazing, how they love to play the victim. They will even support RB driver Perez just to play the victim.
Schumacher would have done the same
Senna would have done the same
Hamilton probably have done the same.
Who can remember this Alonso gold.
Woke doesn't come into it. Some people support the team and brand and some are just driver focused.
Seb did the same but has clearly had a change of heart after growing up a little and not having that competitive car.

Very different situation.

Hamilton and Alonso tied for 2nd on points in the 2007 championship. If Hamilton had obeyed team orders Alonso most likely would beaten Raikkonen for the championship. This is the probably the #1 reason Alonso doesn't like Hamilton. They butted heads many times as team mates but that took the cake.

Max is just being a-hole.

Was he though? Hamilton was going faster than him (otherwise hamilton would have been behind....)
He launched himself into that corner and braked way too late to barge his way in and was hoping Hamilton would consider his car and his race and not risk it. Max didn't care about his own car - he said that much after the fact.

Again, he was going slower than hamilton at the point of collision.

I dunno, it feels like something RB just does every so often - sacrificing VER's teammate at some point.
For sure, one of CH's big weaknesses. He has a favorite. They have also not done themselves any favors by building the team around a single driver and treating their "second" drivers like crap. Those drivers bring alot of fans to the team, whether national fans or just fans of the drivers themselves.

Only because he had to brake so hard to stay on the track and had no chance with that racing line. He was counting on Hamilton moving over for him when he was behind and slower which would have given him what he wanted. Trouble is his front axel was behind and it wasn't his corner.

Nice guys finish last. The RB team is Max, like or not, that's the facts. If Perez was RB's nr1 driver they would not have had two drivers championships. The car was made and developed around his amazing skills.
All the fans and advertisers for RB is not there for Perez being a nice, they are there because RB/Max is winning races and championships

In your opinion.
In my opinion, the fact that max actually turned onto the inside kerb to try to avoid Hamilton cutting him off showed me he was more than capable of turning sufficiently to complete the corner. If he was understeering madly like you allege, he would not have gone over that kerb.

WOW it can't be that difficult. 10m before the incident Max was ahead. So for Lewis to be slightly ahead he had to go faster than Max?

Red Bull have never achieved the Drivers, Constructors AND runner-up. ie. Total Domination in a season. With only AD to go and zero benefit to Max other than a couple points he's not exactly a team player considering the RB driver stable just letting him by race after race after race.

Not a team player? He is the team.
Nobody care about second. I in fact hope both Ferrari engines break or both crash in the last race and they don't finish second in driver or constructors. That would hopefully secure the firing of half the team management.

I don’t even think you need to hope. Ferrari needs to fire the lot of them. Worst cars and this year was dismal.

More importantly: It's race week!

Yes!

Prediction time:
1 - PER
2 - SAI
3 - RUS

Highlights
VER and LEC crash into turn 1, and then keeping to AD traditions, HAM is deemed at fault and has a 5s

Lap 10 stewards issue warning for track limits to VER, even though he was crashed out.

Lap 22 - RIC crashes into SCH, SC, everyone pits except HAM pits
Lap 23 - Haas announce RIC as their 2023 driver.
Lap 24 - SC car comes in, HAM pits

Lap 29, nothing happens.

Lap 34 GAS speeds in the pit lane
Lap 35 GAS speeds in the pit lane again

Lap 45 SC as LAT gives us the single most amazing crash as his going away present to us, taking out STR as well!

Post race:
FIA disqualifies PER, leaving LEC and PER tied in points, ultimately giving LEC the 2nd place via most 1st.

Post season
We still argue over AD 2021 instead. Deep down inside we all miss LAT.
