Perez wasn't being nice to the Drivers he was holding up for Verstappen

His reply also sums up a major issue with Mick. He is too nice on track. All successful drivers have been aggressive on track and at times, FOS.

There is a difference between slowing down to block a driver deliberately, and "defending like a lion" to help a team mate ahead.

PER vs HAM last year blurred the lines. You could argue that was unfair too.

Very odd, my friends are telling me that on TV the fireworks went off when Max crossed the line.

I thought exactly the same but the commentators didn't say a thing. So I watched the positions and Albono dropped two positions right after that happened so I thought he'd had a spinny. Crazy coincidence.

Questions in my mind:

1) Would Checo have been able to keep Charles behind if he had also 1 stopped?
2) Did his 2 attempts at overtaking Lewis cost him the time he was short at the end?

Besides the optics, the Max Sao Paulo incident meant bugger all at the end of the day.

Going to be A LONG 3 months wait till Bahrain in March.

1. No idea. Ask the brunette race strategist
2. Definitely cost him as he then had to get past 1 backmarker before going into a corner behind Albon and only being able to get ahead of him once he went through the corner.
