The commentators (former drivers btw) all agreed with him. That's borderline race fixing.

The only insult to this sport is the media and stupid plastic fans.

EDIT: and Liberty
Duh! Team orders is normally race-fixing...

What?

Team orders have been a thing for decades, are you one of these new plastic fans you refer to?

Must be a reading comprehension problem on your part, it clearly states there the commentators/ex drivers said it.

They referring to asking a guy eight seconds ahead to purposefully slow down and back a driver into drivers from behind.

Only Hamilton does that and he does that to his teammates.

Exactly what makes their opinion right? And just to confirm, this is every commentator and ex-driver in the world?

Known as team orders, and within the rules, so the idea it's some form of match fixing is ludicrous.

Only Hamilton does that and he does that to his teammates.

24/7/365 rent free, in your head...

Dunno what the **** your problem is now, probably drunk.

There's nothing "rent free" about this. It's on topic, David. Now put your phone down.

Yep, old Lewis, it turns out, never had an issue screwing his team mate over. It's only an issue when he is apparently screwed over.

No, but "Checo is a legend" for driving too slowly in Abu Dhabi.

Race fixing? Didn't see MV complaining about that when he was on the receiving end of such benefits? Its a team sport isn't it? How is being a team 'fixing'... or so we need to re-evaluate team sports now?

"****ing daft" is all I have to say

Weren't they directly competing against eachother for the title here, their only competition was eachother? Context.
Precedent though had been set in 2016. Happy to back his team mate up and "race fix". Same as what Max would have done to LeClerc in order to allow Checo to gain a distance advantage.

Not that difficult to see the similarities.

So Leclerc had relative pace. What if Max slowed and Leclerc passed him and RB came 2nd and 3rd. Then everyone would laugh and say RB pulled a Ferrari. Speaking of clowns, see there are a few here.

FIA exit for ex-Mercedes lawyer was inevitable after controversies: https://racingnews365.com/fia-exit-for-ex-mercedes-lawyer-was-inevitable-after-controversy

"... there were suspicions that continuing links to her former employer Mercedes resulted in the TD designed to raise ride heights – the Three-Pointed Star’s car suffered particularly when run low to the ground as others could.

While in September, Mercedes was amongst the first teams to have details on Red Bull’s overspends, tellingly a week before the team was officially informed by Rao. Go figure.

Speaking during the Canadian Grand Prix, Red Bull boss Christian Horner was particularly suspicious about the TD, pointing out that the matter had not followed due process yet a team - believed to be Mercedes - had arrived in Montreal with the appropriate parts before the TD was even published.

"It has [first] to be discussed in a technical forum [which it wasn’t], plus it is overtly biased to sorting one team’s problems out – the only team who turned up here with it, even in advance of the technical directive,” he said. So, work that one out… "
