Well done Max.
Great drive form Fernando as well.

Lando and George need to wake the **** up, come on Lads you can do it.

Perez is not doing himself any favours atm. Pretty sure Ricardo already has one foot on a driving seat next year.

Really enjoyed the LH and Alonso battle, and wow what a podium. 11 Championships between the 3 of them.

You can see it in his demeanor as well when doing interviews. Does not look to be in a great place atm.

He never is. Last year he also was not in a great space. Then he won a few races - out qualified Max and seemed to be poised to challenge Max this year for the championship. That dream fell away very quickly and now it's over.

Happy for Max for winning another Championship this year. I just wish we'd had more of a fight for it.

Mercedes is German...Just because the engine is made in the UK doesn't mean it isn't German.

By that token, BMWs made in Rosslyn are South African.

Some of them are, not all of them. But they're very much still German, yes. "South African built, German engineering"

Yep! German designed too.

There was some guy on Twitter a few weeks ago who doubled-down so much on BMWs being South African. Amazing...

Agreed. Mr. Inconsistent might not have a seat, next year.

Also agree. He was the disappointment of the weekend, needed to get back in the groove. He wasn't helped by the choice of inters late in Q2 quali, but he looked off the pace the whole weekend. I also think RB was wrong to start him with mediums for Spain (those around him was on softs) and the whole strategy followed then. Was Bottas any better alongside Ham I wonder?

It does look like the tyres are performing a bit different to what is expected. Usually, the soft tyres are faster than the mediums are faster than the hards. For a few races we've seen drivers perform at similar levels with different tyres on.

Perez's ego is standing in his way, like Bottas. In his mind, he is as good as Verstappen. You could see it in the way he was speaking a few weeks ago. I think if he can embrace the role of underdog instead of presumed equal, it will take some of the pressure off and give him the drive to actually stick it to Max every now and then.
