I won't lie, not a pool supporter, but man that decision sucked.

True, but I couldn't reply to Gasly. To be fair, Gasly stirred the pot.
All good man. This is a "banter" type thread. If we're taking things personally it's time for a holiday anyway. Sport banter really does need to be taken as such. It's a good lesson for seeing how deep your head is up your favourite driver/teams ass lol...True, but I couldn't reply to Gasly.
It was not intended as an attack on lkpat so my apologies if it came across as such.
I was typing in anger not thinking logically.
I have sent a PM to that effect, thanks for pointing it out.

Accommodating Andretti sustainably in the eyes of the rest of the grid would mean renegotiating the Concorde Agreement, increasing the money pool and allocating it equitably. Liberty themselves probably don't like the sound of this either as it would mean giving up a percentage of their own slice of the pie.
But they're hoping to make that back on US commercial rights and advertising. I'm sure they could sacrifice AlphaTauri.Andretti wants to enter. The existing 10 teams don't want that because it means diluting the money.
As it is right now, for the first time in F1 history it is entirely possible to run an F1 team without losing (too much) money. 10-years ago Haas, Williams and possibly Sauber/Alfa Romeo would have gone bankrupt. Haas specifically would not be sustainable in any other period in F1's history.

Yeah, it's not like there isn't money being thrown at F1.But they're hoping to make that back on US commercial rights and advertising. I'm sure they could sacrifice AlphaTauri.
