I won't lie, not a pool supporter, but man that decision sucked.
Not sure how Club level English football match compares to a World Championship decider but thanks for stirring the pot yet again. even the Hamilton Fans are Sick of it, it is in the past, let's leave it there.

To be fair, Gasly stirred the pot.

True, but I couldn't reply to Gasly.
It was not intended as an attack on lkpat so my apologies if it came across as such.
I was typing in anger not thinking logically.
I have sent a PM to that effect, thanks for pointing it out.

All good man. This is a "banter" type thread. If we're taking things personally it's time for a holiday anyway. Sport banter really does need to be taken as such. It's a good lesson for seeing how deep your head is up your favourite driver/teams ass lol...

when it spoils your day, throw the T-shirt away.

Unless it's an original and cost you 2 grand, then forge a signature on it and sell it for 10

I suppose things are working really well with the driver line up at AM as well then right?

Context for those of us who don't have Twitter access?

Andretti wants to enter. The existing 10 teams don't want that because it means diluting the money.

As it is right now, for the first time in F1 history it is entirely possible to run an F1 team without losing (too much) money. 10-years ago Haas, Williams and possibly Sauber/Alfa Romeo would have gone bankrupt. Haas specifically would not be sustainable in any other period in F1's history.

Accommodating Andretti sustainably in the eyes of the rest of the grid would mean renegotiating the Concorde Agreement, increasing the money pool and allocating it equitably. Liberty themselves probably don't like the sound of this either as it would mean giving up a percentage of their own slice of the pie.

But they're hoping to make that back on US commercial rights and advertising. I'm sure they could sacrifice AlphaTauri.

Yeah, it's not like there isn't money being thrown at F1.

AppleTV is rumoured to have offered them $2 billion PER YEAR on a 7-yr deal starting in 2025 for the exclusive streaming rights!!!
