Verstappen wasn’t at all impressed.

“For me, you can skip this,” said the reigning World Champion. “We are just standing up there, looking like a clown. I mean, yeah…”

Asked if he’d take his complaints to Formula 1’s bosses, he said as per ESPN: “I don’t know, I guess they still make money if I like it or not, so it’s not up to me!

“But I’m also not going to fake it, I just always voice my opinion on positive things and negative things. That’s just how I am.

I'm with Max on that. It was the most awkward thing to watch. Keeping the drivers at the track to stand on a podium and wave... Like primary school.

So we might see the first death in F1 since Jules? New track, less practice time.... Recipe for disaster.

eSports might be more appropriate then. They'd be doing promotional work anyway. Imho most of the drivers simply looking shell-shocked, unimpressed and doing a royal wave of sorts was a missed opportunity.
 
We really needs to give their internal clock a good service, and re-calibration. Went to watch FP2 and couldn't understand why no FP2. Seems the internal clock doesn't understand the difference between UTC and CAT :eek: :laugh::X3::laugh::p
