Omg what stupid arguments we have here.
Medical procedures with screws, metal etc happens in all sports and they are inside the body.
Jewelry is on the outside. They can cause problems in cases where electricity or fire is involved. Yes even in a bad accident where a driver maybe have to be revived with machines or quick xrays need to be taken.
Where does one stop? If one clowns nose ring are allowed, then the next clown will want to wear his gold chain and the next one 5 copper armbands.
This is just an example of some people that never want to follow rules or laws. The whole nose ring infection is utter BS to bend rules, can never see the bigger picture

How about making the exception for one driver's nose stud and leaving at that?

How do you justify makeing an exception for one driver? Surely if there's an exception for one driver, then that same should apply to all drivers?

Okay then.
Make it so that each driver can have one nose ring if they want and leave it at that.

Which is effectivity what they've done. Anyway, there are cars in track. Probably better to focus on that.

Stroll's hands seem good to go (probably with some extra magic mushrooms in his drink)

Can't wait for the day when a woke pro-golfer decides to play in rugby toks or shorts & plakkies.
No respect for the sport, its all about me and my woke rights.
 
Why don't they just make the drivers sign disclaimers that say that they can wear what they want but F1, the FIA and whoever else takes no responsibility for any issues that arise from wearing any item of clothing or accessory in the event of an incident. They love to complicate things.

Because in the event of a tragedy it's the FIA that will be held responsible. And the rules are applicable down all the levels of FIA racing, not just F1

Formula 1 will hold a revised qualifying format at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, which will see drivers being forced to use Hard tyres in Q1, Mediums in Q2, and Softs in Q3.

The current qualifying format allows for a free choice of tyre in all three sessions, with the fastest available tyre (Soft) typically used throughout, unless it's a wet session.

RacingNews365.com understands that the change was agreed last year as part of an 'Alternative Tyre Allocation' under F1 sporting regulation 5.4 amongst four parties; Pirelli, commercial rights holder, teams and the FIA.

The change will see the number of sets available to each driver reduced from 13 to 11 in a bid to reduce the amount of tyres brought to a race weekend, with plans to have six available for qualifying and five between practice sessions and the race.

This means drivers will have access to three sets of Hard, four sets of Mediums and four sets of Softs during the weekend.

The changes would mean that drivers who do not make it through to Q3 - thus starting outside the top 10 - would have access to an additional three sets of Softs for the race, which could be beneficial at some circuits.
