Schumacher was a man. We sometimes get angry and may let the testosterone out with a fist or two, then its over in 5 min and we laugh about it. When you get older you relax a bit.

And Senna would simply drive his car into his rival so neither would finish the race and he'd win the championship.

Go ask Prost if he still laughs over that...

You can't really compare eras. Schumacher would not have been stupid enough to pull of the stunts he did then had he been racing now and we don't know what Hamilton would have been like had he been racing in that period, but what's certain is that he would have been different from what he is now.

It is remarkable though that Hamilton turned out a decent guy. He had it rough coming up the ranks in a different time when there was not much education about diversity etc and he definitely took abuse.

He could have turned out erratic like Balotelli from Italy. Talented footballer, could have been among the best in the world had he kept his head in the right place but the bigotry he experienced as a result of being the only black guy in Italian youth teams at the time probably contributed to his erratic psychological states. Kids can be horrible and often have non filter.

As flawed as Balotelli is, a lot of us would end up like that had we gone through what he did.

"Last year, I told them the issues that are with the car," Hamilton told BBC Sport.

"I've driven so many cars in my life, so I know what a car needs, I know what a car doesn't need," added the seven-time World Champion, who has a record 103 Grand Prix wins to his name.

"And I think it's really about accountability, it's about owning up and saying 'yeah, you know what, we didn't listen to you, it's not where it needs to be and we've got to work'.

"We've got to look into the balance through the corners, look at all the weak points and just huddle up as a team, that's what we do.

"We're still multi-World Champions, it's just they haven’t got it right this time, they didn’t get it right last year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get it right moving forwards.”

We don't know for sure as his family have been very private but there is high probability that he is vegetative and unable to communicate.

If he was functional (even partially), I'm pretty sure he would have wanted to come and watch some of Mick's races as did his wife.
