I thought it was a joke. I'm assuming the thing he wears are from designers thus still advertising

It was probably his attempt at humour. I can just picture him cackling away at how clever he thinks he's being for getting people to respond.
This is what happens when parents don't give their children enough attention, people. They go look for it on the Internet when they're sad and lonely adults.

We have 4 weekends of racing for July seen as July has 5 Sundays

Funny, you point out inaccuracies and suddenly you're a fanboi and offended.

The alternative, ghastly though it is to consider, is that silly critical remarks out of nowhere, against anyone, are unnecessary. And then when pointed out, especially when disputed with any form of logic or fact, just drive the critic to froth because their inane points are illustrated to be such.

If you don't want to be called out on your kak, don't speak it ;)

Unfortunately I’m going to miss a few as I’ll be in the UK for all of July. Won’t have time to watch the races.
