Yes. Some credit must go to the damp track, but finally a sprint race to reduce the volume from the haters.

It's still too much F1 for me but at least the sprint and race including qualifying is separated, big improvement over last year in that regard.

And that is why I don't like it.
The Real Qualifying and Race are now separated by 36 hours or so just to suit a gimmick event intended only to boost FoM (F1.com) profit at the expense of the sport.

The points count towards the championships so it's not useless. Last year it was useless...

Well, mentally, I have the satisfaction of watching track action with a result earlier this afternoon and then further excitement for a full race tomorrow afternoon. Seems like improved sports viewing value to/for me...

Obviously YMMV depending on how important F1 is in one's life.
