This is why we dislike tracks like Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Saudi, etc. Etc.Need more races like this, it stayed exciting all the way to the final lap.
And it didn't even rain...
This was almost as exciting as Monaco! This is why we dislike tracks like Bahrain, Azerbaijan, Saudi, etc. Etc.
What a difference a real racetrack and real fans makes.
DotD Lando Norris..............
They switch that hard tyre on beautifully. I also thought they were sitting ducks.
F1's audio mixer doing his best again to hide the the Max booing.
Maybe I missed it. Perhaps you can quote where any other member used vulgar and offensive language relating to any other driver? You seem to be very sensitive when the great Dutchman is insulted, but not when the only black driver on the grid is being called a pool boy? And then you wonder why I called the orange army bigots?
Max actually is a decent person off track. You see it in interviews and he even stopped to talk to Martin Brundle during the grid walk. He's not into fashion or records. He just likes to race. And win.And well deserved.
Yeah, I was so sure Hamilton would pass him.
That's just sad, he is a not so nice person ( edited for the sake of speedsters sanity) but he is a great driver that drove flawlessly regardless of how fast the car is, he deserved that win. And he did nothing in the race to deserve a boo.

The winning is where he becomes very selfish and in his earlier years, overly aggressive. But selfishness is what makes a champion. Hell, Jenson Button has even admitted that he himself was selfish when on top.
The British crowd hates Max because of everything that happened to Hamilton in 2021. That's fair. But the optics of the boo'ing is not good.
To say Max, as a person off track, is not a nice person, is factually incorrect.
He comes across as a really nice guy.
I found it interesting that nobody has brought up Pitt's rudeness towards Brundle on the grid walk in September last year.He comes across as a really nice guy.
Open and honest and a true Motorsport fan.
I was expecting prim donnas who though they could look down on everyone but I was wrong.
I am now suitably impressed.

To be fair, he's a pretty decent guy. He gets on really well with Lando and Ricciardo (some of the more likable drivers on the grid) and this side comes through if you watch him stream when he plays racing simulators. Yes, when the helmet comes on, he is ruthless, but so were Schumacher and Vettel and Lewis is the same in this regard as well.
People took the 2021 feud way too personally - both sets of fans - and Max also appears to be personally paying for the ''sins'' of his father, Piquet Sr and Michael Masi, as if he is responsible and accountable for what either of them have said and done.
Yeah and it even seems him and Lewis is getting on pretty well lately with both of them sharing jokes and chatting about the races, cars etc.
It is the same with Rugby. for 80 minutes the guys want to moer each other and afterwards they all hug and beers gets shared. That is sport for you.
