"Haas driver Nico Hülkenberg is set to drive for Audi in 2026. This means that one of the two places would be taken, reports Sport1. ↪️ Audi is said to be offering Hülkenberg a 3-year contract, but there is no official statement yet."

Interesting. I wonder who's off to fill in the void @ Haas?

Ollie Bearman would be the logical choice, given Haas' close association with the Scuderia. He's a Ferrari academy driver. If it's only from 2026 though, would he be happy to kick his heels on the sideline for another year?

Would be a good choice. I wonder if Hulk's selection might signal a young driver selection for Audi for the 2nd seat?

Hmm, not sure. Depends what route they want to take. IMO, they will take some time to bed in and in order to do that, they need to two fast and experienced drivers to propel their development. You're not likely going to do that with a new driver who's still green. If Hulk is indeed on a three year contract, then partnering him with Sainz (who seems to be the one to go there if reports are to be believed) will be a good move. Once his contract is over, Audi will possibly be in a good position to the bring in a young fast driver to take over the reigns alongside Sainz who would then be the experienced pro.

Interesting times ahead.

My guess is Aston gets him. Lawrence will just throw money at it. And that team is relatively stable and free from politics, as long as everyone knows that one seat will be taken up by a clown.

And if you can design a car that gets said clown onto the podium, your contribution to motorsport will forever be remembered...

I wouldn't put too much faith in a single, random news site article

Only two options for me:
1) Ferrari
2) Wolff is trying to take all of Horner's talent which would be funny. Renault 2.0.
