It is a joke that Andretti is being blocked, with F1 citing that they don't see them being competitive.

Meanwhile, Haas (who don't even build their own car) is doing the absolute bare minimum.

I agree, Andretti has shown more willingness to compete with their application process and the vigor they had to fight for it, than Haas had on track last year, so I also think Andretti should get Haas' spot

Why Andretti hasn't simply thrown a bus load of money at Gene Haas to take over the team is baffling.

It stated: “Andretti Cadillac has reviewed the information Formula One Management Limited has shared and strongly disagree with its contents.

“Andretti and Cadillac are two successful global motorsports organisations committed to placing a genuine American works team in F1, competing alongside the world’s best.

“We are proud of the significant progress we have already made on developing a highly competitive car and power unit with an experienced team behind it, and our work continues at pace.

“Andretti Cadillac would also like to acknowledge and thank the fans who have expressed their support.”

Earlier in the day team patriarch Mario Andretti tweeted: “I'm devastated. I won't say anything else because I can't find any other words besides devastated.”

Out of the Frying pan and into the Fire..........
But I guess he wants to Follow in the footsteps of Schumacher and get a title for Ferrari.
I still think the MB will be ahead of Ferrari in development though.
But I also though he was crazy to leave McLaren so I wont make that mistake again  ;)

I just saw this now. That would be a stupid move. He'll lose many supporters....

Hamilton at Ferrari, crazy if it happens. And in 2025 too, a year before the major engine and regs change. Almost like his 2013 joining of Merc before the new engine in 2014.

Perfect timing?
