Man either that Red Bull is rubbish or Perez is...erm... not a "prime racing specimen"

I didn't watch practice, is he ill or the car damaged?
 
Said this last week here. Perez is having a repeat year. Surprised in the rumors that he has signed for another year.
 
He loves this track. 3 Monaco poles in 4 years.

Gonna be an interesting race with these positions :thumbsup:

It's not like Red Bull to have issues with their car for so long. They should be on top of things again in Canada.

Curious to see how Max approaches this race. Stick to 6th and take what you get, or get your elbows out?

Good read from The Race. TL;DR It's a design failing in the Red Bull. It's ground effect downforce is so good because the car rides low and stiff, which is problematic at bumpy/kerby street tracks. Previously, they were so far ahead, that their lap time losses were hidden by their outright pace, but teams are catching up.

I know there is general dislike here for Hamilton so I do not expect unbiased comments.

Anyway, what do you guys make of his post qualifying interview?

I must admit something is amiss here. How can you practice time be quicker than qualifying. Russell struggles every all 3 practice sessions and then all of a sudden he beats Hilton by a few tenths.

It's not the first time that these strange things happen. Also, George's behavior during races are odd, wanting a grid place back from someone that is way ahead.

Mercedes seems rotten at the moment.

Because MB only had one new upgraded front wing and LH opted to let RUS have it.
It was Hamilton's choice, not the teams, so no conspiracy there..........

It's more than just the wing. There are also talk that the narrative that Hamilton not wanting the wing is BS.
