Well, it is still two years away and Gene Haas has just shut down his 4-car NASCAR outfit due to costs/lack of funding, so there is no guarantee his F1 team will still be on the grid.
That may well be how Andretti gets in, buy Haas..........

My thinking too.. both US based teams which F1 would want.

Has Sainz decided whether he's going to be driving next year, or is he still focusing on the next race?
No, I think he is holding out for RB or Merc but most likely will sign for Alpine or Williams.
Merc seems to be hoping Max does something crazy and leaves RB at the end of 2024.
Max wont leave RB while he has Perez next to him.
if there was a good driver that could compete on any given day Max might leave. the rumours of him leaving was just to freak Horner out when he already had so much going on. and Toto openly trying to sign Max was just 4d Chess adding to the stress on horner. and it worked, they signed a bad second driver to keep Max happy, they Lost Newey and the other teams caught up in the development race. i think Max is going to be world champion again, but it wont be as easy as it was last year.
Sainz is going to end up at Williams.
Ocon at Haas
Ricardo is not going to have a seat and Lawson is going to have the Vcarb seat.
Antionelli is going to have the Merc seat. neither him or bearman are performing but bearman has a seat next year. sucks for the guys doing so well at F2 that they are going to get ignored completely. Hajar really getting the Drugovich sized stick here.
who knows if Antionelli has a double win weekend with a fastest lap in each he goes from 8th to 4th.
and judging by his previous years he has slow starts and then suddenly ends up winning everything later in the season. so here is hoping....
