I'm intrigued to see if Newey can deliver a car that's competitive in the short term. He's obviously got a stellar track record but everything takes time.

Yeah and there is also the question whether the Honda engine will be as strong in 2026 compared to the Ferrari and Merc engines.

Plus the two drivers one will be 46 and another who is a brain dead idiot.

I certainly wouldn't bet against Aston, Honda & Newey delivering a championship winning car but I'm also not naive to believe that any combination guarantees success especially since there are other teams that are probably more motivated at the moment. I doubt Aston will ignore the driver component (at least for one of them) if they're delivering epic quali laps but can't sustain the pace over a race and age/talent is an issue.
 
And so the merry go ground continues... so only RB, Alpine and Kick Sauber left to confirm

Why is Ferrari a passion project and other teams aren't, who are we to decide what people's passions should be? What if his passion is turning a schitbox into a rocketship?
 
While i admire Newey he has also had some misses - weird how everyone is convinced that he (and the team) will take a massive leap forward

I 100% think Aston, Honda and Newey can deliver a championship winning car....

I'm also 100% sure that so long as the twatjockey offspring is behind the wheel it won't win a championship.

He was always very quick to admit his mistakes. At the same time, he was also able to very quickly fix those mistakes.

We shall see 2026, the proof will be clear. I personally rather bet on newey than against.

Not sure it's 100% but they have most of the bases covered.
