Quali has certainly setup a good race: An excellent battle is poised up front with Ferrari, Red Bull and McLaren all in the mix. Mercedes ruled themselves out of contention. Haas looks good, Williams was surprisingly weak. Hamilton finds himself amongst the rookies and behind Bottas (lol) at the back of the field. Even Alpine got a car in the top 10.

I'm optimistic for a good race tomorrow, but why so damn late

Yes. Just as Vettel also showed in his last years racing. Old guys may be OK for PR, marketing and developing a struggling team. But winning championships? Nope not going to happen
