Only way Lando can get Max to stop his dive-bomb attacks is not give way which ruins his championship and Max knows this. As for Lewis, I don't blame the guy based on the lack of even a consistent car session-to-session and week after week. He may surprise at Ferrari or simply age out. Time will tell but Charles and Ferrari can still learn a great deal from him.

Honestly Max needs to learn that if he turns into Lando they both get taken out. That happens if he does it to Lewis and Charles, so he's a bit more respectful against them. Lando keeps giving way so Max just keeps turning into him. Lando needs to hold his line and let Max learn the hard way not to turn into him.

Lewis will do just fine at Ferrari and will certainly pick up a few wins. I think he might drive a season or two and retire. He's no Fernando. And I think Ferrari will be keen to have Bearman in their car again.

I think LH will perform well at Ferrari.
if there are still 4 constructors in a tight fight next year between Ferrari, Merc, Red Bull and Meclaren, we will have an amazing season where the most consistent driver will make the difference. and I think that is what has made LH so good over the years. no dominating 10 win runs, no season where his constructor won every race other than 1, but he is always up there.


I can see another competitive season where we have 6 or 7 drivers fighting for podiums every race. hard tough racing pressure week in and week out. I say 6 or 7 because we cant know how well Kimi will handle that kind of pressure, if the Merc is even a contender.



I also feel like Lando's title hopes died this weekend. the title is Max's this year.
Constructors is going to be interesting. I feel like it could end up being a tight fight between Ferrari and Mclaren, I feel RedBull have lost it with only 1 driver in there....

If Lando wants to become a world champion he needs to become more ruthless, you need to drive with the elbows out like Max if you want to be the best.

I wonder if the Ferrari bosses realized they made a mistake by signing Lewis, the man looks broken. At RB they probably also regretting giving Checo one more chance, the rookies makes him look like an amateur.

lewis has been the better driver off the 2 merc drivers ...he still has it in him

also i believe merc hasnt focused on his car this season yet he still brings home the points

he will win with ferrari ..if the gets the same car like this weekend

Firstly, this weekend incident and most other in the past, Lando was trying to overtake on the outside, so Max could not turn into him. Only push him out.
Secondly Max is leading the championship. If he and Lando collide and are out of the race, it benefits him and disadvantage Lando.
They both know that. Any other respectable driver and motorsport fan knows that too. Thats how it works. Any other great driver will do exactly the same.
You will see Max is careful not to collide with all drivers, even Sainz, but not with Lando.

I think so too. Checo is just so far of the pace of the top 6 that he will most likely only get P6-P10 for the rest of the season at best. I think RB has already mentally given up the Constructors for 2024.

Nothing Lando has done is remotely comparable to the same move Max has done and been criticised for time and time and time again. It's a regulatory loophole at minimum but still doesn't detract from the fact that he leaves the track, retains the lead in doing so thus technically an advantage but is never penalised.

I do as well, especially with the newer guys. But I'll always support McLaren first, and them second.

Ferrari Fan will be going through mental turmoil next year when Hamilton joins. I wonder who will be added to the list of people/teams that they "always" supported...

That screws Lando and Max knows it. He doesn't care if him and Lando both get taken out, it maintains the lead in the constructors. He'll drive less recklessly against everyone else to avoid giving Lando an advantage...

2024 has been a year of surprises. Remember just one Max DNF with a Lando win can pop this thing on its head. Even Charles could win it if the winds blow his way.

@Jean Claude Vaaldamme - World champions are world champions. You're welcome to let me know which retired world champions have not spoken out about Max's antics with that move. Keep believing Masi's 2021 shenanigans were legitimate all you want - it doesn't change the fact they fired the guy for it and it's an embarrassment to the sport.

Perez isn't even running the same spec car as Max half the time and even more so since his drop from performance.
