Colapinto on track to overtake everyone in damage costs per year.. after like 2 races he's $3trn down

Now adjust that list with how many races the drivers have competed in as a % of cost damage! 👀

Even Mazepin or Maldonado's jaws are dropping!

Definitely plausible. I still don't see how Checo has a seat in 2025. We'll know soon enough I guess but would feel bad if Checo is axed without a send off of any kind (over the winter break).

Like Danny?

Well drivers leaving without a sendoff is their own making. They are struggling and trying to hold on to a seat and everyone is irritated by them. If they did the right thing and announced their retirement or departure, everyone would have given them a great sendoff.

So if Max has a bad start to the season next year he should quit even if he has a contract in place?

Feck…

When I saw the headline I was saying “please let it be Croft, please let it be Croft” until I noticed the image of Hill :(.
I dunno man, one less Brit is one less Brit. I'll take it.

Rumor currently has it that the Pitt movie being shot has Pitt competing against Checo in the storyline which some think is the reason he hasn't been able to be let go this year...

Who cares if true but certainly a better rumor than many this year.

Even Brad Pitt is outperforming Checo now

He has had a rough start, but he's also had some tough conditions to deal with as a rookie. I wouldn't put too much stress on it just yet, let's give him a shot before jumping on him.

Exclusive: In Las Vegas, Ferrari will test an experimental chassis useful for the 677 project: https://autoracer.it/it/esclusiva-ferrari-a-las-vegas-con-unala-nuova-e-un-fondo-sperimentale/

"... Ferrari will have a specific experimental underlay available for Friday’s free practice, useful for correlating the new 2025 car. For budget cap reasons, being a component useful only for testing, in America there will be only one underlay that, according to the plans, both drivers will have the opportunity to try for a run. It is certainly a way to verify some steps forward in the implementation of the basic underlay of the 677 model , which will also have a much more advanced design than the current one. Nonetheless, no one is confident that they have definitively stifled the hopping, the engineers want to make sure they continue development with a good anti-porpoising metric (thanks to the Monza spec) in the most sensitive areas.

The real novelty in Las Vegas will be the availability of a front wing that is lighter than the Monza specification (which will be present) that can be used if the track offers satisfactory levels of grip. On the rear, however, the technicians will choose the best option between the SPA and Monza specifications. ..."

yeah in all fairness he shouldn't be in F1, he didn't deserve that seat by a long shot

but then again I suppose money talks with all these guys

do you even know what you are talking about?

maybe look at a drivers stats before flapping your lips, we're talking about colapinto ffs
I'm talking about Colapinto too, you are talking out of your lower sphincter

Franco Colapinto has done nothing but heavily impress the entire grid since he replaced Logan Sargent. He had a bad weekend at Interlagos, sure, but every other weekend he impressed everybody (except you, that is)

did you actually read anything I said????

He didn't deserve the seat... and that is 100% correct, look at his record (which you have never done) his seat was bought which is completely unfair to other way more deserving drivers.

you can't come after the fact and say, "I told you he deserved it"

FML so if a driver finished last in every season for the last 20 years of his racing career, then bought a seat for a weekend in F1 (yes that did & does happen) and then did well... do you go around saying, "I knew it, he deserved that seat!"

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
