As far as I understand things, Red Bull Power Trains was going to work with Ford, but they already had an engine before Ford came on board.

Still, very sub optimal.
Any sign of this engine? All I see is a rebadged Honda.

More like Checo's setup is not as good for him as Max's setup on his car is to him.

I think it was Albon or somebody who mentioned that Max's setup is crazy sensitive. Checo's setup is not that sensitive.

Checo is faster than everybody else in the field except for Max. So it's not like the car "doesn't suit him". If Max wasn't his teammate Checo would be the champion.

Yip, it was Albon.

Where there is smoke there is fire. All these rumours and leaks. Somewhere in the middle there is probably some truth to it.

I just cant see Max laving before 2026. That car is guaranteed to be still top of the pile in 2025. Give up a possible 5th championship?

Max to Merc, Carlos to RB, LH to Ferrari.. . I am all for it. The crazier the better.

I don't see him leaving of his own volition either. But if his dad is having issues he might feel forced to do so to not become estranged.

Max would win the championship in any of the current Merc or Ferrari cars too. Going by this weekend's race, the Red Bull is maybe 5 sec faster than the rest over a race distance. The other 20 sec is all Max.

Who's in the Red Bull? If it is Lewis of Charles then he won't be crowned champion.

Yeah I agree with you. If Max was not in F1, 21 would have been LH, 22 would have been Leclerc, 23 tight battle between LH, Checo and Ferrari.

The Red Bull is undeniably a great car being made look even better by Max.

If Max jumps ship to Merc, I bet 2025 will be super close, and if the regulations of 26 change back to engine dominance over aero etc. Merc could very well be top of the pile again.
