Is this the first time Ferrari will have a black driver in F1?
 
It's going to be really weird seeing ham in red. I really hope Ferrari will get their act together now. The clown show of the last few years was just ridiculous.

I was going to say it can't be worse than the Mercedes show, but then I looked at the DWC standings for 2023.

I concur, but those upsides all favour Ferrari. Also, Leclerc having to improve his racecraft, which he will have to do, to compete with Hamilton over a race distance is a good thing. It's not enough for Leclerc to just be fast... He needs that little bit extra in racecraft if he is to be successful. He'll get that by going up against Hamilton.

Yup. Between Charles and Lewis they have 7 world championship titles. The most formidable pairing in F1 for 2025!

Last I checked his mother was Caucasian.

True. He also has a Mclaren P1.

Max also owns Ferraris. He's also driven the Ferrari GT3 race cars.

Ask Alonso what teams think of drivers that constantly complain and then even say in the media how bad the car is.
Merc was sitting with a big problem. They have a driver that is not performing and old. But they cant fire him, the backlash from fans and the media would be to big. So they gave him new contract and now they probably smiling. Bet they would not even have complained or tried to stop the move. Maybe they pushed for this move.
Ferrari, well we know there history of making bad decisions.

Did we forget how many times Hamilton wanted to give up mid race?
Did we forget how many times Hamilton told us how bad the car is?
Did we forget the constant complaining on the radio every race?
But we think this was just Hamilton's decision?

Hahahahahahaha. It’s Friday indeed.

Lewis and Mercedes’ outperformed Ferrari last season. He finished 3rd in the drivers standing last season in a less than ideal Mercedes. Mercedes finished 2nd in the constructors. He is definitely bringing something to the table. Ferrari will benefit greatly if he keeps this up as a minimum. Charles will also learn a thing or two if he doesn’t try to play hero and give up the No. 1 driver for 2 years or so.

“Let them race” lasts about 2 races in all honesty. When the drivers are equally capable, the order needs to be established quickly else you are wasting an opportunity for good strategies.

Redbull is the only top team that can afford a “let them race” attitude because Max always wins that race anyway.
