Max doesn't seem too concerned after FP2.
 
What is this crap about "Proved to be fake"?

The law is Innocent till proven Guilty, the onus is on the persons leaking and reposting this crapo to prove it is true, not the victim.

If you do not like him and have deluded he is guilty that is fine but do not force that opinion on the rest of us.
This is off topic.

Please return to the 2024 F1 season and refrain from spreading unproven allegations that have already been exonerated my a magistrate.

To be fair, this is directly related to F1 and how it may or may not affect the future of the F1 team and, by extension, F1 as a whole.

I do agree though, speculation is all it is at this point.

Keen for quali, I reckon Red Bull are faster than FP2 indicates. I think we're going to get Red Bull, Ferrari, Merc, Aston in more or less that order.

I think most reaction has been quite nuanced here compared to what's going on on social media. It is interesting that RB has already issued warnings to UK press about publishing the google drive contents - so that's odd for something that's fake... Happy to see how it plays out but my only view is that RB hasn't been too honest here if these screenshots are legitimate and that'll bite them more than simply getting in front of it and slapping him on the wrist.

I don't know, I didn't get much from their FP2, I think they're going to start the season fairly average, probably 5th fastest. I have no idea really.

Hopefully just sandbagging.

There was a glimpse of pace in fp1, but then again they were on softs and Ricciardo was fastest so I wouldn't read too much into that...
 
Even people whose opinion I used to appreciate are now disappearing into my ignore list, this forum is going to be a lonely place this season.....

Seems an extreme response. There's nothing to talk about right now, we are all just waiting for FP3 and quali.

A little banter is fairly standard.
 
The whole thing is for two adults to sort out amongst themselves IMO. They made a bit of a hash of things. Of course that's not going to stop the detractors and those who want him out and those who want his job.
It's also not going to make it less awkward for him at work. Here he is telling his PA she can work from home when he's telling the rest of the crew he hates WFH.

If it was just between two adults it would just be a bit of a scandal.

Problem is, it's a boss and his employee. That's a whole different kettle of fish.

I don't understand this whole gatekeeping thing, this whole drama is completely relevant to the topic. This could derail the whole year for the team potentially. It could even have an effect on their performance. Hopefully not, but you never know.

yeah it just opens up can of worms and friction with others

but it isnt illegal i assume if both are consenting unless its part of they contracts

wonder what his wife has to say
