Could even be why Mohammed is being investigated now, didn't he come out in defense of Horner the other day?

Yeah, the rumour mill suggested that he also asked Max to publicly back Horner which Max denied hence I think Jos could just be an outlet to vent how Max feels without Max breaching RB PR policy.

But again, we can't know for certain.

I still maintain this is just a PR campaign to have people talk about F1 and not simply give up due to the fact that the team that broke the catering budget has car so far ahead of the rest of the field that 3 years of development cant let anyone catch up.

Yeah, it is politics. Cheating is very common in the sporting world and Horner is very unlikely to be the only one on the grid doing something like this.
This was initiated by an employee who was claiming workplace harassment.
Nothing to do with personal infidelity which is perfectly legal in most work environments EXCEPT some firms where subordinate relationships are banned in certain cases.
This is about an employee saying he wouldn't stop harassing her and asking for inappropriate pics / having inappropriate conversations.

Political battle yes, PR campaign probably not. These allegations could ruin Horner forever. If he ends up getting fired, not many reputable teams and companies will want to associate with him in future.

You could see it this weekend. Walking with his wife in hand, hanging around the Thai owners. He is trying to show that he strong and backed by power.

This thing is going to boil over I think. Max seems to be the kind of person who doesn't like to be in the spotlight and the more questions he gets regarding this saga the more he is going to get fed up.

It'll be sad if it comes to that, but he'll be okay if he never works again.

He's more than well off financially but for many of these guys, racing is their life. For Frank Williams, racing was always more important than even family time, something that has been mentioned repeatedly in docs about Williams.

Pretty sure it's the same for many of them, though they probably aren't as extreme as Frank was.

I thought F1 was dodgy when the poison dwarf and kinky Nazi were running things but this is ridiculous. This must be due to the issues between FIA and F1/FOM when MBS "took a back seat" from running F1. I guess he was trying to make Liberty lose money and somehow gain leverage.

Nobody gives a toss about who he sinks his dick into. They will see what he's accomplished at RB. The same reason you never play the stock market by emotion, emotion doesn't make you money...

Having an affair is nobody's business, but if he is found guilty of having abused the lady, he is toast as that raises moral questions about associating with him.

He wasn't found guilty though. There was a whole external investigation. Or do we keep retrying him until we find someone to declare him guilty?

Yeah, my implication was that if he is found guilty, it will be hard for him to find work with companies/teams that value their brand PR.

Clearly he is bought. How deep does the rot go? He’s clearly just a pawn. Aramco?
If this sport turns out to be as corrupt as it’s looking, I’m out.

You only found out now? It's been the case since Ecclestone's days.

Just two links. Probably loads more.
