"Last year, Ferrari produced 13,221 vehicles, up 18.5% over 2021. Demand still far exceeds supply, with dealers saying the wait for a new Purosangue SUV and other models is now at three years or more. Many buyers say they can't even get on the waiting list for a car, since there is simply not enough production.22 Aug 2023"

Yeah right, keep telling yourself Ferrari needs marketing.
And do you think any of this demand might have come from...I don't know...marketing? Or is it just instinctive? Like breastfeeding or babies knowing to hold their breath in water?

While I'm sure Ferrari F1 performance feeds their sales, there is a second income stream and that is F1 sponsorship. I'd think the motivation behind LH joining leans more towards the second

Merc have some work agead of them!

"MERCEDES' RADICAL WING CHANGE

In Bahrain, they had the lowest top speed (Bottom): just 313km/h

For Saudi Arabia (Top), they drastically reduced their rear wing load: they gained 19km/h (‼️) and were 2nd fastest

This, however, clearly hampered their tyre wear and cornering.

It seems that the car has inherently high drag, or at least higher than most:
- In Bahrain, when they ran a wing in line with the competition, they were slowest;
- In Saudi Arabia, despite running by far the skinniest wing, they were still 2km/h slower than Haas.

Something to work on..."

Media claims that Adrian Newey might be parting company with Red Bull, unsurprisingly seem to be wide of the mark.

For a tale that has already featured more twists than a cheap fire hose in a pretzel factory, one of the strangest - and there is serious competition - is that the Christian Horner saga could see Adrian Newey part company with Red Bull.
...

"Ferrari came hard for him," said Horner, referring to an approach made by the Italian company in 2014, albeit in terms of a road car. "They promised him the world. 'You can have a Hollywood lifestyle, fly into the factory from Monaco every day and you won't pay any tax and you can design a road car and this, that and the other'.
....

All that aside, a move to Ferrari alongside Lewis Hamilton would be serious box office.

Has there been any updates recently on Michael Schumacher's health?

The last I remember was Mick and his mother (indirectly) addressed it in the 2021 documentary on Netflix and implied he isin't good at all.

Honestly, I'd imagine if it is a worst case scenario, it's more painful to keep him alive than had he died for the family. Sometimes having money can be a curse because doctors probably would have given up if he was a normal person.

The only recent thing I've read was somebody saying "he can't speak but communicates with his eyes."

How true that is I don't know, however when I was young my parents knew a lady from church who's son had an accident on an oil rig (a beam it something hit his head/back and he became a quadriplegic).

He also communicated with his eyes and made "moaning noises". That was his life - just laid there for years. I still remember him have no teeth, catheter/bags and stuck in a room most of the time. Eventually he passed away, I'm talking 15-20 years.

It's not a life you want and when Domenicali said he wouldn't wish Schumacher's condition on his worst enemy, I can only assume it's a very similar situation.

Yeah, I imagine he would have wanted to be at Mick's races if he could.

Apparently he was up and talking in the moments after the actual accident before it became worse and he became incoherent (I imagine the pressure and swelling became greater).
