He is not a vegetable but bed-ridden. Not quite as bad as Christopher Reeve. There is little prospect of even a small recovery

I read in an Italian magazine (one of the better ones) that he is able to communicate using his eyes, similar to Jean-Dominique Bauby who actually wrote a book in 1997

It was Todt's ex-partner who mentioned he communicates with his eyes, but whether she was talking the truth, we don't know.

Mick more or less says in the 2021 Doc that he cannot talk to his Dad about motorracing and would do anything to get to do that. It's sad really.

Very sad. I think had Michael still been fine, he would have definitely been involved much more and Mick would have been a much better racer for it. Ala Max and Jos.

Don't think we will ever see Schumi in public again. We will probably just get a news report some day that he passed away peacefully at home.
 
This one is my favorite:

Despite Liberty's Media messing up the calendar in the pursuit of greed rather than sport, I still consider the Australian GP as the Start of the F1 Season.

Honestly, I'd imagine if it is a worst case scenario, it's more painful to keep him alive than had he died for the family. Sometimes having money can be a curse because doctors probably would have given up if he was a normal person.

I reckon the only official update we will ever get on his status will be his passing. We won't ever see him in public again and his family will say nothing.

I'm also keen for the first official race of the season. I wonder how everyone's cars have been developed, maybe this will be a good season!
