I was busy in a meeting this morning so couldn't watch the FP1. Luckily YouTube has the highlights, busy watching it now
 
Oh hectic. Isn't that basically what Norris did though?

EDIT: NVM, this is referring to Norris' reinstated pole. I thought they'd canned Lewis' lap.

Yea, don't see the issue here.
 
I can understand how this guy has just lost his mojo. Absolutely nothing has gone right for him since Covid started

The only thing that doesn't add up is people's selective reading. This track (like many others) doesn't have the last corner/next lap regulation. Stewards incorrectly deleted the lap, but were quick to correct their error.

Its always funny how half the people want stuff to be investigated properly after the session, and the other half wants things to happen instantly.

I can't imagine how hard it is to be one of those stewards and be the one responsible for those quick decisions that could affect so much

Agree, I just wish they had corrected their error a little sooner. Poor Lewis was feeling on top of the world there for a brief moment.
 
Yea I don't think there's really much wrong here, other than the stewards screwing up initially - that shouldn't have happened.

But the actions seem fair and it was a well deserved pole for Lando.

Anybody that survived deserved the pole.
Another 15 min of that and It would have gone to the last car to spin out.............
